Chocolate Avocado Pudding

When you are in the mood for something sweet, but still want to stay on track, try this chocolate avocado pudding... #dessert


  • 1 medium avocado (peeled and pitted)

  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder

  • 1-2 tablespoons maple syrup or raw honey (start with one and you can always add more if you need more sweetness)

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

  • pinch of sea salt

  • You may need a non-dairy such as coconut milk, almond milk or cashew milk, depending on the consistency - a few tablespoons can be added at a time


  • Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor in the order above. You can also put in a bowl and use an immersion blender. All will work.

  • Blend for 2-3 minutes until smooth. If it is too thick you may need to add a non-dairy milk a little at a time to get the right consistency. Just keep in mind it will thicken when you chill it in the refrigerator.

  • Spoon the pudding into ramekins or small bowls, cover and chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve. (Serves 2)
