Make your own taco seasoning, you can use it for tacos and so many other things...on chicken, steak, even scrambled eggs. The packaged seasoning has preservatives we can all do without. Get your kids to measure for you and set it aside for when you need it! #beef
2 tablespoons chili powder
2 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1 teaspoon oregano
¾ teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
2 teaspoons sea salt (adjust to your liking)
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
Combine all of the ingredients until well blended and store in an airtight container.
Brown 1 pound of ground beef. Drain the excess fat.
Add 2 tablespoons taco seasoning. Add ½ cup water.
Mix and bring to a boil.
Simmer until reduced to a light coating on the meat.
Serve with lettuce wraps, raw cheddar and your favorite salsa.
