Food As Medicine:

Although low in calories, cabbage is packed with nutrients. Just one cup contains vitamins K, C, B-6, and folate as well as minerals including manganese, calcium, potassium, and magnesium. Additionally, cabbage may improve your digestive health as it is a good source of insoluble fiber and soluble fiber. Insoluble fiber helps keep the digestive system healthy by adding bulk to stools and promoting regular bowel movements, while soluble fiber helps feed the beneficial bacteria in the gut. Cabbage also contains powerful antioxidants, including polyphenols and sulforaphane which have an anti-inflammatory effect on your body. #sides
