Minimize Exposure to Toxic Chemicals

To minimize exposure to toxic chemicals, consider making your own chemical-free cleaners from baking soda, vinegar or lemon juice. Baking soda is great for using as a stain remover, and when mixed with equal parts distilled water and vinegar (with a little lemon thrown in) makes an excellent cleaner for all surfaces, including windows. To maximize your health, avoid chemicals and clean with natural products.

Recipe: Thai Chicken Soup (Recipe from The Reset Book)

Slow Cooker Thai Chicken Soup

  1. Mix the curry paste, coconut milk, chicken stock, fish sauce, and peanut butter in a 4-1/2 to 6-quart slow-cooker bowl.
  2. Place the chicken breast, red bell pepper, onion and ginger in the slow cooker, cover and cook on high for 4 hours.
  3. Add in the peas and cook for 1/2 hour longer.
  4. Cook rice separately.
  5. Spoon a bit of rice in bowl and add soup! Delicious!
